Student request for support
The HIGH Program provides funding for housing for students who qualify. The funds are intended as a last resort after all other available funding options to the student have been exhausted.
Applicants to the HIGH Program must:
- Be homeless or precariously housed.
- Have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
- Must be registered in the current academic semester at Wayne State University.
- Demonstrate all other funding options have been exhausted.
- Must submit as part of the application process a viable plan documenting how they will sustain during their remaining semesters with Wayne State if an award is provided.
- Graduate applicants are encouraged to apply for other graduate loans prior to applying for the HIGH Program award.
- Applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
