Arielle Duncan
Growing up I never saw myself being able to get this far. I was never really taught the importance of college and getting good grades in school. So as time went by I slowly was starting to get into a habit of not doing anything to help my future. I didn't actually understand how important it was for me until my senior year of High School and by that time I thought that I would have no chances. This award means so much to me because it gives me hope for my future and it helps get me on the right path to success. No being able to know where you will lay your head that night is the scariest thing and I am so grateful to have the coolest opportunity to not have to worry about that. Thank you again for everything that you have given me and I am so excited to start this next journey of my life at Wayne State!
