It is with deepest appreciation that I express my gratitude for being accepted into the HIGH Program. This award has already been a blessing as it has answered my prayers. After exhausting my financial aid, I had no idea how I would be able to continue my education. The stress of being a full time student, care taker of my grandmother, and now the uncertainty of would I be able to continue my schooling had begun to have a negative effect on me as a student. Being selected into this program has given me a boost of confidence and self-renewal to achieve my goals as a mortician and funeral director. My educational pursuits would not be possible without the generous support of the HIGH Program. I am forever grateful for this opportunity. This experience is something that I will never forget, and I know that the affects of this will reach far beyond the monetary sum of the award. Again, with deepest respect and gratitude, thank you.
