Dear High Program,
When my car went out of commission on my way to work in Pontiac I felt helpless. It was a Friday and I had just the weekend to figure out what I was going to do. I was a bit unsettled because my plan was to get much of my school work done and not spend it trying to figure out how to get my vehicle fixed. I found out about the High program through my work with the Wayne State Call Center. I immediately looked up what the requirements were and filled out the application. The response was quick and I was told that the program could help supply me with bus passes. This was a relief not only because I didn’t have to miss work but it took the pressure off me to figure out what I was going to do to get my car repaired so I could focus on my studies. I am so grateful for the program and the staff who manage the program.
