WSU Senior '15
I am currently a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Art in Fine Art with a minor in Art History. I plan to graduate in May of 2015. Following graduation I will embark on a career as a Visual Artist and eventually an educator in the Fine Arts. It is with great certainty that I make these statements because of the generosity of the H.I.G.H Program. Prior to this current semester I was unsure how I would fund the remainder of my education. Although attending Wayne State University and working toward my degree is a great honor it has also been a tremendous financial burden on my family and I. However, I made a commitment to myself and my late father to complete my Undergraduate degree and due to being awarded the Presidential HIGH Scholarship; I am able to concentrate on what is important, my education. Your financial generosity has brought me one step closer to my goal. I hope one day I will be able to help other students achieve their goal just as you have helped me.
