The Helping Individuals Aim Higher Program has been really helpful for me. I am a full time student dual enrolled at Wayne State University and Wayne County Community College. I also work full time for Onstar. I usually miss work sometimes because I have to catch up with homework or because I don't have a way because getting to Warren is so far. The HIGH program offered me assistance to get cab fare to get to school and work. I also just moved into my first aprartment and they offered me assistance, including a gift card for Whole Foods. Words cannot describe how thankful I am to be a part of this program. It is really helping me aim higher and it shows me Wayne State University really cares about me.
