Receiving an award from the high program really helped me move toward my academic goals. The award helped pay for tuition and lessened the financial burden, so that I could focus more on my academics. It was an honor to receive funding, which served as a great motivation to continue excelling in my courses. Knowing that the HIGH program, and other programs as such, exist makes me feel at easy because I am confident that fellow Wayne State students in similar situations as myself can receive help locally, right from our campus. Being able to move forward with my education was made possible by the HIGH program!
