WSU HIGH Program thanks Vicente's Cuban Cuisine Restaurant for support

Vicente's Cuban Cuisine

Vicente Cuban Cuisine is the perfect family fun spot this summer! Well-known for their salsa dancing with instructors & Havana-style good eats, Vicente's is filled with an eloquent ambiance: the picture-perfect recipe for a great night out of the town. From their sweet tres leches cake to their authentic tortilla soup, there is sure to be something tasty on the menu for every member of the family!

Vicente's has given gift cards to go towards directly feeding low-income Wayne State University students who are helped through Helping Individuals Go Higher (HIGH) Program. Founded by the First Lady of WSU, Jacqueline Wilson, a little over three years ago, the program has since grown to help over 129 students fulfill their lifelong dream of graduating with a degree. For the students of the HIGH Program, a degree means more than a piece of paper, it means a bright future. It means that they beat the odds, overcame one of life's most difficult challenges, and now have the power to make a better life for themselves and their families.
