WSU HIGH Program thanks Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant for support
If you enjoy traditional or boneless handspun, barbeque chicken wings, watching your favorite sports team win on wall-to-wall flat screen TV's, or maybe just need to kick back after a long work week, Buffalo Wild Wings has you covered! Better yet, their largest location in the U.S, all 20,000 square feet of it, is located in Wayne State's backyard: Downtown Detroit. With over 90 TV's, and plenty of wings, burgers and fries to go around, "Bdubs" is the place to be any night of the week!
Wayne State University HIGH students get to share in the fun because Buffalo Wild Wings has donated gift certificates for hungry students. The WSU Helping Individuals Go Higher Program, founded in 2013 by First Lady Jacqueline Wilson, assists disadvantaged undergraduate and graduate students by providing them with housing, scholarships, school supplies, textbooks, clothing, child care assistance and much more.
We are very grateful for the support of the Greater Detroit Community, as our non-profit organization would not survive without it. The Buffalo Wild Wings gift cards will be distributed to our most needy students, deserving of a hot meal after many long hours of studying with summer classes in full swing.
If you, your campus organization, restaurant or business would like to make a difference and is willing to donate time, services, or gift cards to benefit the needy students the HIGH Program serves, call us at (313) 577-9933 or email wsuhighprogram@wayne.edu.
