Woman's Life donates $2760.00 to the HIGH Program

In 1892 Bina M. West, a young school teacher, made it her life's work to provide women with the opportunity to achieve financial security for themselves and their families. As a result, she founded one of the first organizations in the United States to offer life insurance to women. Today, Woman's Life remains committed to her vision, helping women prepare for a secure financial future with life insurance and annuity products, while also providing meaningful support for their community outreach activities.

There is nothing unusual about success. I only carried out my idea. Too many people fail because they are afraid of other people's opinions. This is especially true of women. The only thing to do is go ahead.

- Bina West, founder of Woman's Life Insurance Society

Woman's Life is all about connecting with other women and families to have fun and help others. The beauty of women connecting, through Woman's Life, to do good work in their communities

Woman's Life has chapters across the United States full of women who were friends or family members, or acquaintances from work, school or church, who came together to form a Woman's Life chapter because they saw the benefit of working together with support from a national organization. Regardless of how they started, they've become great friends, providing the type of support only girlfriends can give - but they're also inspired to share together the good feeling of helping others.

Thank you for your support of the HIGH Program!

In addition, the Woman's Life Chapter 836 Port Huron, Michigan partnered with the Salvation Army's Woman's Auxiliary to offer a Kentucky Derby Purse Shopping Fundraiser! Proceeds from the purchase of new and gently used purses supported children in St. Clair County.
