Wayne State volunteers are needed to serve as balloon handlers for the Kermit the Frog balloon at America's Thanksgiving Day Parade in Detroit.

Volunteers are responsible for walking the balloon along the parade route as part of Detroit's parade. Handlers should be in good physical condition and able to negotiate the elements of handling the balloon for the duration of the parade route (about 3 miles).

Balloon handlers should plan on attending Balloon Handler School at 10:00 AM at The Parade Studio this Saturday, October 22nd and will need to be fitted for their costume no later than October 27, 2016.
