The HIGH Program Success Through 2014
The HIGH Program received 111 applications; 26 students were awarded financial resources and another 55 received referral services.
Seniors were the most frequent recipients of HIGH Program support; this is consistent with the HIGH Program focus of enabling students to complete their degrees.
"On-time" graduation was our first evaluative assessment. Of those 17 awardees whose graduation date or projected graduation was or is before the end of CY2015, 16 (94%) have graduated or will receive their degree in December 2015.
13 graduates (nearly 54%) are presently enrolled in a master's or doctorate program. This is extraordinary, given that national census data shows that just over 11% of adults over age 25 possess a master's or other terminal degrees.
