Staple diner at Wayne State University donates to the HIGH Program

The Campus Diner wins over its customers with its nostalgic diner atmosphere with crowd-pleasing American favorite dishes like eggs and bacon for breakfast and Coney dogs for lunch. Heavy on the food and light on the wallet, this quaint Wayne State University hotspot is located on Cass Ave across from the School of Nursing building.

In an effort to help serve the homeless student population at Wayne State, Campus Diner has recently partnered with First Lady, Jacqueline Wilson's, Helping Individuals Go Higher (HIGH) Program by donating gift cards. This program provides housing support, tuition assistance, school supplies, clothing, food, and more to students who need financial help. The HIGH Program has recognized the need for a more collaborative and Detroit community-driven approach to allocating recourses to students, hence where local businesses and sponsors, like the Campus Diner, come in.

To enjoy the delicious American staples that they have to offer, visit Campus Diner at 5470 Cass Ave, Detroit or call (313) 832-4817 to place an order. To learn more about how your business or organization can help students in need, call (313) 577-9933 or visit us on the web at highprogram.wayne.edu.

Together we can prevent, and one day end student homeless at Wayne State University!
