On behalf of the first lady of Wayne State University and her Helping Individuals Go Higher (HIGH) program, we are pleased to announce our newest partner in the effort to end student hunger: Selden Standard. This celebrated Detroit dining hotspot works with a number of local farmers to produce seasonal, rustic small plates that are perfect for every palate.

Founded three years ago by Mrs. Jacqueline Wilson, the HIGH Program has played a pivotal role in helping underprivileged, low-income students overcome their hardships and earn a degree from Wayne State University. The program's goal is to ultimately ease the burden of hunger and poverty for students on the path to graduation. The HIGH Program is dedicated to connecting individuals and local businesses that are willing to use their resources to support these students, who are working hard each day to beat the odds.

In donating gift cards, Selden Standard has not only provided hungry students with a hot meal but also proven that the local Detroit community cares and wants to see them live up to their potential.
