National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Event

National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week is held each year the week before Thanksgiving. This is a time for us all to start to think about what we are thankful for, a perfect time to share our compassion with our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness, and work toward a world where no one has to experience Hunger and Homelessness.

Our main goal is to raise awareness on campus as well as to inform students on how they can help the lees fortunate people.

The HIGH (Helping Individuals Go Higher) Program is participating in the National H&H Awareness week on Wednesday, November 18th from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm at Wayne State University Student Center Building in the south side of the building. We will distribute free hot drinks and cookies.

Please feel free to come by and share this email with your friends.
