Mrs. Wilson tours Orchard's Children's Services

Mrs. Wilson met and toured the Orchard's Childrens Services in Detroit, with offices throughout Michigan, on Jan. 4, 2017.

Touring Orchard's Childrens Services Facility along with attendees Randie Levin and Michael Williams, our First Lady and Founding Director of the HIGH (Helping Individuals Go Higher) Program got to view the many services Orchard's provides.

Mrs. Wilson gained an insight on the impact Orchard's Childrens Services has made throughout its many successful years serving the community. Since 1986, Orchard's Childrens Services has helped bring families together. With a mission of "Come together, stay together, and grow together," Orchard's dedicates its public services to children who are in need of foster families or adoption. Orchard's has completed over 3,000 adoptions throughout Michigan.

Donations from the HIGH Program

Orchard's Childrens Services donated winter coats for WSU students who are in need. Orchard's' generous donation will contribute to the HIGH Program Awardees.

Mrs. Wilson shared a few words on the generous contribution from Orchard's. "We had the honor of receiving winter coats for Wayne State University students in need from Orchards Children's Services. Orchard's Childrens Services is a leading agency helping local families come together, stay together, and grow together through adoption, foster care, and family preservation."
