Mrs. Wilson speaks at Warrior Day
Mrs. Wilson, made a stop for Warrior Day! The Wayne State University Warrior Day was held at the Detroit International Academy for Young Women on March 8. Mrs. Wilson welcomed prospective students to become Wayne State Warriors.
Warrior Day events, held throughout the year, reach out to prospective students to engage with WSU. Mrs. Wilson gave an opportunity to many young women to learn about the university by conducting planned activities and providing information for high school students. Interested young women had the chance to speak with WSU representatives about admission requirements, college careers and all that WSU offers.
Mrs. Wilson is the Founding Director of the HIGH (Help Individuals Go Higher) Program. The HIGH program was created to ensure that no student abandons their dream of earning a degree solely because of housing or financial challenges.
