Mrs. Wilson joins the C200 Reachout

Our First Lady Mrs. Jacqueline Wilson joined the Wayne State University Mike Ilitch School of Business Committee of 200 (C200) for a Reachout, held at the Student Center Ballroom on April 9th 2017.

The First C200 Reachout was hosted in the State of Michigan with an international network of over 500 successful corporate women executives and entrepreneurs and connected with women business students and alumni. "The Motor City: Women at the Wheel" was the theme. A full day of panel discussions was featured that included topics on careers in entrepreneurship, networking, branding, community service and public life.

Mrs. Wilson shared with these young women about becoming an entrepreneur and her experiences in the corporate world. Mrs. Wilson is the current and founding director of the HIGH (Help Individuals Go Higher) program at Wayne State University. Established in 2013, HIGH ensures that no student abandons their dream of earning a degree solely because of housing or financial challenges.
