In an effort to help over 125 students who apply to Wayne State University's HIGH Program every year, Chartreuse has recently donated gift cards to provide these needy students with a hot meal.

The HIGH Program (Helping Individuals Go Higher), founded by First Lady Jacqueline Wilson in 2013, is dedicated to helping homeless or insecurely housed students, working hard for a successful life, beat the odds and graduate with a degree from the university. Regardless of the financial and emotional hardships they may face, students supported by the HIGH Program are determined to graduate and be productive members of society- and Chartreuse is helping them to do just that!

Named 2016 Detroit Free Press and Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers Restaurant of the Year, Chartreuse's motto "We like being in a good mood, and being around other people that are in a good mood" is supported through the example of their philanthropy. Their generous donation is making a positive impact on the lives of WSU students who need the support of their Detroit community in order to succeed.
