Mystic Kettle Korn continues to support the success of the WSU HIGH Program

Mystic Kettle Korn’s incredible Michigan-grown (non GMO), all-natural gourmet kettle corn provides the ideal sweet or savory snack. Launched in 2011, Mystic Kettle is peanut and tree nut free, gluten free, dairy and soy free and arguably guilt-free. Popping at farmer’s markets, apple orchards, schools, and other various locations, Mystic Kettle makes it a priority to donate to worthy causes throughout the community, including the Wayne State University’s HIGH Program .This program founded by First Lady, Mrs. Wilson, is transforming lives by providing shelter, education, and food to Wayne State’s most needy students.

The WSU HIGH (Helping Individuals Go Higher) Program is unique in that we directly cater to helping young people better their lives by obtaining a degree from the university. We collaborate with other student run organizations, local restaurants and businesses to make this all possible. Since its inception in 2013, our program has assisted over 125 students reach their goal of graduation. It is the Helping Individuals Go Higher Program’s hope to empower students emerged in current financial conflicts by lending them a helping hand, directing them to their future.
