Wayne State HIGH Program Delivers Grab-and-Go Bags to Homeless shelters Amid COVID-19 Crisis

DETROIT, Mich. The Wayne State University HIGH Program (Helping Students Go Higher) assembled and delivered Grab-and-Go bags to local Detroit area shelters Mariners Inn, the Neighborhood Service Organization, and COTS to help offset the strain that the COVID-19 pandemic is having on those Detroiters in need.

The Grab-and-Go bags feature Bombas socks and a variety of non-perishable food items and were distributed by several staff members of the Wayne State HIGH Program at Mariners Inn in Midtown Detroit, located at 445 Ledyard St.
